U.S. Rep. Anthony Weiner, D-N.Y. admitted yesterday he sent his weiner’s bulge’s photo to a woman he met on twitter. (He intended to send it as a “direct message” but mistakenly posted it on his feed.) He also admitted sending explicit photos to six other women over the last three years, although he quickly added he had not met any of them or “had physical relationships.”

Last week, he struggled so badly denying sending the photo and told the press he was hacked. During interviews, he said he was not sure if the photo was of him and declined to report the incident to the FBI or the Capitol police.

He was largely seen as the future mayor of New York although Democrats now seem to be distancing themselves from him.

Rep. Nancy Pelosi, the party leader, and other Democrats called for an ethics committee investigation to determine whether Weiner had broken any House rules. Rep. Weiner said he will not be resigning.

I have engaged in several inappropriate conversations conducted over Twitter, Facebook, email and occasionally on the phone with women I had met online.
